Today we had our fifth ultrasound on little Peanut and my "belly." Today's purpose was to identify a conspicuous "bright white spot" that had consistently shown up on Peanut's stomach the last 2 ultrasounds. So Matt and I loaded up and drove to Little Rock for our Level II Ultrasound, truly believing the whole time there was nothing wrong with our baby. A talented ultrasound tech and a doctor with a great sense of humor confirmed what we and the Lord already knew: our baby is perfectly normal (Matt swears this proves the doctor is a quack, since nothing with his genetic makeup could be called normal)! We feel our peace of mind and faith have been validated, and we're hopeful this is the last test or procedure we'll have to undergo before we meet our Peanut face to face. Thank you to all who have prayed us through this!

Joining the Technology Age
At the encouragement of my sister and family, and with the upcoming birth of our first child, I'm starting a blog. Any of you that know me well, are probably laughing out loud. You don't believe I have it in me to keep up with this. Don't worry, my husband has his doubts as well. But I'm inspired by friends with babies, and I know this is the easiest way for our families to see pictures of our little one when he or she arrives. So please keep your sarcasm and doubts to yourself, and I'll try to have this site ready when Peanut arrives!
